We asked 102 Bethel students for their thoughts on gun control

More than half of the students said they thought the US should pass stricter gun control policies

The Clarion surveyed 102 Bethel University students on their thoughts about gun control in the United States.

In an unscientific survey, 60 students said they thought the country should pass stricter gun control policies. 29 students said they thought the United States should maintain current policies, eight said the country should pass less strict gun control policies and five students said they didn’t have an opinion on the subject.

How was this data collected?

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, Clarion reporters roamed the academic buildings during community time and asked students to fill out a survey regarding their thoughts on gun control. The Clarion also posted the survey link on its Instagram story. 102 students in total responded.
