Head coach of Bethel University women’s soccer, Ben Linder, announced his resignation after practice Monday, according to an email from Linder.
Linder led the Royals for eight seasons, amassing a record of 39-58-11. He came to Bethel as an assistant coach in 2016 before being promoted to head coach in 2019. Linder is moving on to be the director of the Chicago Eagles, a Mission Athletes International soccer club.
The announcement comes near the end of a 3-12-2 season, Linder’s lowest win total as coach of the Royals.
