We get to know our residents really well so we can cater our events to what they actually want to get out of it,” Lewandowski said.

Bethel led by one goal for most of the game, but the Oles responded in the third period with three goals in the span of nine minutes and 11 seconds. “They hang around until we make a mistake,” Royals head coach Chris Mckelvie said. “And it’s kind of a mirror image of last year in the playoffs.”

The Bethel University and St. Olaf College men’s hockey teams tussle in front of the net during the Royals 3-1 win over the Oles on Friday Feb. 22 at Bethel University Arena. “We’ve already played St.Olaf three times,” junior center Jack Brown said. “Playing another MIAC team, especially a team that we lost to in the championship, just builds up even more momentum.”

This season’s Bethel women’s basketball team has centered itself around its cohesion – a large contributor to the success of the team. “We just hype each other up so much,” junior Rosie Penke said. “Which is really fun, even if it's a joke. We're just cheering for each other so much.”
