  • Today is Indigenous People’s Day in St. Paul, although many cities across the United States call the holiday Columbus Day. Head to the Cultural Connection Center today at 7:30 p.m. for a discussion on what Indigenous People’s Day means with Bethel seminary alum Jim Bear Jacobs.

  • The Minnesota Vikings beat the Houston Texans 31-13 Sunday, according to the Pioneer PressThe Vikings are now 5-0.
  • A chart by the Pioneer Press shows that 10 years after graduating, Bethel alumni have a median income of $45,000. According to the same chart, 76 percent of Bethel grads make more than $25,000, the average for high school graduates, six years after enrolling.   • Two people were stabbed at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Mall of America, according to the StarTribune. Authorities say the victims knew their attacker.
