Big Kid Bash
Bill 63-9 was passed unanimously. This allocates $1000 from the sophomore, junior and senior class funds towards the Big Kid Bash, a year-end event for upperclassmen.
This year it will feature events such as axe throwing, rock climbing, an inflatable slide, ultimate ninja warrior course and smashing the car. The event will take place May 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot areas around the Lakeside Center.
Outdoor Movie
Student Senate will be hosting Spiderman: No Way Home outside May 6 at 8:30 p.m. Specific location to be determined.
Flexin’ For A Cause
Next week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday students will have the opportunity to donate up to $50 flex and three swipes to Second Harvest Heartland, a food bank in the Twin Cities working to end local hunger. Sodexo has a formula and will calculate a dollar amount based on how many flex and swipes are donated. With that money they will buy items from a list Second Harvest Heartland provided them with their most needed items. From there Second Harvest Heartland will distribute the items as they see fit.
