The Egg: September 5

Here are the top seven things you need to know this week.

By: Molly McFadden

#1: Today is Labor Day. Sit back. Relax. Think about the work you should be doing but are choosing to procrastinate.

#2: There will be a Church Connections Fair on Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Different local churches will be present.

#3: Student Senate introduced three bills that will reduce the BSG budget.

#4: The Lake Johanna Event will be this Friday from 5-7 p.m. Shuttles will be running from the CLC circle every 20 minutes and Student Activities suggests that you bring money, as there will be food trucks present.

#5: Auditions are open for Bethel’s fall play “The Tempest” by William Shakespeare. Check the E-announcements for the link.

#6: The Financial Aid Office is now located at the Anderson Center, rather than the 3900 campus. In order to assist students towards the beginning of the year, some faculty are available for walk-ins in CC322 through Friday. Check the E-Announcements for times.

#7: Bethel is introducing a new communication app called Patio. Student Life suggests that you download it to connect better with all at Bethel.
