Rolling countrysides, the sultry voice of hunky Scottish actor Gerard Butler, love and sadness rolled into one story, now that is what I call soothing. The flick is about a woman whose husband dies of illness, and little does she know, he has set up letters that come to her throughout the next year to help her move on with life without him. His letters urge her to try new things and explore the world around her. Through that process she grows in her relationships and learns more about herself. Eventually she is led to Ireland where she originally met her husband, and relives the memories along with making new ones. P.S. I Love You offers viewers a wonderful story of finding yourself a midst tragedy, and learning to take advantage of life’s opportunities.
