- Want to go see the team that somehow is going to win their division play one of the last regular season games this year? Come to the Twins game Friday. Tickets will be sold in the BC from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the week for $12 each.
- Constitution Day will be celebrated Monday in CC430. Come listen to the University of Minnesota’s Kathryn Pearson talk about her research on women in Congress. Copies of the Constitution will be provided.
- Want to leave this campus AND this country? Come visit the Study Abroad Fair stands Wednesday in the BC from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- This year’s Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze features the best baseball team in Minnesota, the St. Paul Saints. (Yes, they do have a better record… we checked.) Free admission to the car show, carnival and pumpkin patch open until Oct. 30th.
- Get ready to dig out the box beneath your bed hiding your Hermione Granger wand, because Union Depot in Lowertown St. Paul is hosting “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” Friday. The event starts at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at 8 p.m.
- Want to enjoy the nice weather by going on a walk around a lake? A lake that isn’t Lake Valentine? Try Silverwood Park in New Brighton. You can pick up some custard from our own Sarah Bakeman’s Culver’s on the way back to campus.
- Nine days until Men’s Dance. Judges have been chosen and sign-ups have begun.
