The frozen yogurt shop POP Culture will close Sept. 22 after more than 10 years of service to the community, according to an Instagram post from the shop on Monday. As a small, locally owned business, POP Culture can no longer afford to keep up with rising costs, the post said.
The shop on Lexington serves a variety of different sweet treats but is best known for its unweighted frozen yogurt.
“We have had so much joy in employing local youth and seeing all of you come in and enjoy our business with your friends and family,” the Instagram post said.
Customers can stop in before Sept. 22 to get an unweighted cup of frozen yogurt one last time.
